Who doesn’t love a good sandwich? Nashville is certainly a foodie town (one of the many reasons we love it here) so we have scoped out some of the best places to find a solid sandwich.
Grilled Cheeserie
If you live in Nashville, you know of the Grilled Cheeserie. First a food truck, now they have a couple of brick and mortar locations in addition to their food truck. They’ve come a long way, y’all! You honestly can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches, but be sure to grab a milkshake and maybe some tots for your side. You can thank us later for that one.
Mitchell Deli
An East Nashville staple! Our favorite sandwiches are the Turkey Apple Brie and Turkey Avocado. Be sure to grab one of their sweet teas while you’re there. If you go on the weekend in the morning, they also have great breakfast burritos.
51st Deli
This one is located in The Nations in West Nashville. They serve breakfast all day and have both a hot and cold sandwich menu. They have over 20 sandwiches on the menu, so surely you will be able to find something you like!
Duke’s
Duke’s is a local watering hole in 5 Points (East Nashville) and serves sandwiches. You can even build your own if you want to. We recommend the 2:17 Special or the Duke’s Italian with a side of Tricked Out chips. Go see what those are for yourself.
Rae’s Sandwich Shoppe
Rae’s is located in downtown Nashville and is worth a visit! A fan favorite is the “Beastie Boy” sandwich, loaded with maple pork loin, sweet corn, onion, bacon, relish, and provolone. They have several other sandwiches on the menu as well, so if that’s not your thing, you should be able to find something you love!
If you have tried or are planning on trying these, we’d love to know your favorites! Have questions about any of the neighborhoods these are in? We’d love to show you around. Just reach out!
